Later, He sent His Son, Jesus to fulfill a spiritual need that no one and nothing else could fulfill. John 6:58 states, “This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.” Just as bread sustains us physically, Jesus is the only true sustenance who can satisfy our need of salvation.
